Our Philosophy

Pools by Design has been in business since summer of 2000.  We took an already good design and improved on it in many aspects, mainly by increasing the strength of the pool structure.  We also use some of the best products in the industry to compliment our pool to ensure the overall quality.



We take pride in trying to give each customer a unique product because our pools are built on site, not being restrained to a certain size or shape.  We further try to customize your pool by giving a wide selection of ceramic tile, concrete steps to your specifications, options on lighting, auto-covers, spas, chlorinating systems, slides, diving boards, water features and so on. 



Another great aspect about our pools is that we have the option of having two different pool finishes.  First is two coats of the best epoxy paint in the market, which is already included in every contract or you can upgrade to a Diamond Brite finish.  Diamond Brite is an exposed Quartz aggregate finish that comes in a variety of colors and has a slip resistant quality that is comfortable to your feet.



  Pools by Design gives each customer many options to customize their pool, but all these options don’t mean much if the pool structure can’t standup to the harsh Chicago winters.  The freezing and thawing process of our winters causes havoc on other pool environments.  This is why you should strongly consider us to build your pool.
